Sciaky, Inc. Launches French and German Language Websites
Sciaky's Websites Unveil New EBAM® Metal 3D Printing Systems and AM services, Including State-of-the-Art Process Control Technology
Chicago, Illinois - Sciaky, Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) and leading provider of metal 3D printing solutions and advanced welding machines, announced today that it has launched French and German language websites. The new sites feature an expanded lineup of new metal 3D printing systems, based on Sciaky's groundbreaking Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM®) technology. The sites also include new information on EBAM's state-of-the-art process control called IRISS®, which stands for Interlayer Real-time Imaging & Sensing System.
The expanded lineup of EBAM 3D printing systems includes new options for medium, large, and extra-large part applications, making EBAM the most widely scalable metal 3D printing solution on the market for parts ranging from 203 mm (8 inches) to 5.79 m (19 feet) in length. EBAM is also the fastest deposition process in the metal 3D printing market, based on gross deposition rates ranging from 3.18 to 9.07 kg (7 to 20 lbs.) of metal per hour. Plus, with a dual wirefeed option, you can combine two different metal alloys into a single melt pool to create "custom alloy" parts or ingots. In addition, you can change the mixture ratio of the two materials to create "graded" parts or structures.
IRISS provides consistent process control for part geometry, mechanical properties, microstructure, and metal chemistry for large-scale 3D printed parts. This innovative technology, which is exclusive to Sciaky EBAM systems, monitors the metal deposition process in real time and makes adjustments to the process parameters that compensate for variation throughout the build process. EBAM systems utilize wire feedstock, which is available in a variety of metals such as titanium, tantalum, niobium, tungsten, molybdenum, Inconel, aluminum, stainless steels, nickel alloys, and more.
The new websites also include updated information on Sciaky's industry-leading electron beam welding machines, as well as a recent video that shows how Sciaky's EBAM technology is helping Lockheed Martin Space Systems 3D print titanium propellant tanks for satellites.
"Sciaky is proud to launch new French and German language websites, as well as unveil an expanded lineup of new EBAM metal 3D printing systems," said Mike Riesen, general manager of Sciaky, Inc. "We hope the new websites enlighten the tech-savvy people of Europe about Sciaky's innovative solutions."
